Asperger syndrome

Asperger syndrome is a severe developmental disorder that involves a neurobiologically determined alteration in information processing. Affected individuals have normal intelligence and appearance. They present a particular cognitive style and often special abilities in restricted areas.

Asperger syndrome manifests itself differently in each individual, but all share the difficulties of social interaction, especially with people their own age, abnormal patterns of nonverbal communication, restricted interests, cognitive and behavioral inflexibility, difficulties in abstracting concepts, weak central coherence in favor of processing details, literal interpretation of language difficulties in executive functions and planning, interpretation of the feelings and emotions of others and themselves.

Here you have a movie trailer about Asperger, each pede be more scientifically accurate or not, but can help you understand a little more how is to live with this syndrome.

Effectives emails: do & don’t

How would you write an email to co-workers or boss without screwing up? Because you can not do it just like when you write to a friend, you're in a casual atmosphere and you can do all the faults and mistakes of the world, that he certainly does not care. Here you will find 5 tips to keep in mind and 5 failures you never have to do.

Top dos:

1. Put the information in bold, so it is easier to visualize. But use it with moderation.
2. Go right to the point and don’t wandered, put everything required at the beginning of the email.
3. Keep your signature short and professional. You can also include your title and phone number.
4. Keep the subject line relevant. Keep it updated for replies sent.
5. Check the email before sending it, and above all, make sure your spell checker is on.

Top don’ts:

1. Do not ever write anything in capital letters, whether you want to attract attention. Use bold.
2. Do not include your entire team/group or boss in all the emails you send, you have to be selective.
3. Do not send large attachments unless necessary. You can use a cloud and send the link. Warn if you attach files.
4. Do not send an email when you're emotional, you can regret what you've written.
5. Do not try to be funny, especially in large groups. The possibilities to be misunderstand are enormous.

Hope it will help you!
